Power Collective Studios Policies

At Power Collective Studios, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming space for all members of our community—both in our physical studio and online. Please review the following policies, which outline important guidelines for attending classes, using our facilities, and accessing our website.

General Studio Policies

  • Respect the Space: Please arrive on time, remove your shoes before entering the studio space, and silence your mobile devices to maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
  • Cleanliness: Wipe down any borrowed props, mats, or equipment after use. Help us keep the studio clean for everyone.
  • Personal Belongings: We recommend keeping your valuables at home. Power Collective Studios is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Mindfulness: Be mindful of others’ personal space and energy. Everyone is here to feel safe and supported in their practice.

Class Reservation & Attendance

  • Reservations: We recommend reserving your spot online through our website or mobile app to guarantee your place in class. Walk-ins are welcome if space permits.
  • Cancellations: If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so at least 12 hours before class to avoid being charged a late cancellation fee or losing a class credit.
  • No-Show Policy: If you don’t attend a reserved class and fail to cancel, it will count as a used class or incur a fee.
  • Arrival Time: Please arrive 10–15 minutes before class starts to check in and set up your space. Late arrivals may not be permitted to join once class has started.

Membership & Pricing Policies

  • Class Packages & Memberships: All class packages and memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable, and expire as per their stated terms (e.g., 10-class passes expire in 3 months).
  • Membership Freeze: Monthly memberships can be paused for up to 30 days per calendar year with prior written notice. Additional freezes may incur a fee.
  • Refunds: Refunds are not available for purchased classes, packages, or memberships, except in cases of extenuating circumstances at management’s discretion.

Health & Safety Policies

  • Illness: If you’re feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness (including fever, cough, or shortness of breath), we kindly ask that you stay home to protect the health of our community.
  • Injuries: Please inform your instructor of any injuries or conditions before class so they can offer modifications as needed.
  • Cleanliness: All props and mats must be wiped down after use. Cleaning supplies are provided in the studio.
  • Temperature Policy: Some classes, such as power yoga or hot yoga, are conducted in heated rooms ranging from 90–105°F. If you’re sensitive to heat, please consult with an instructor before attending these classes.
  • Water & Hydration: For heated classes, ensure you are hydrated before, during, and after class. Water bottles are welcome in the studio.

Cancellation & Refund Policy for Workshops & Events

  • Cancellations: For workshops or special events, cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund or studio credit. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.
  • Minimum Enrollment: Workshops and events may require a minimum number of participants to run. If we need to cancel due to low enrollment, you’ll receive a full refund or credit.

Child & Minor Policy

  • Minimum Age for Classes: Students must be at least 16 years old to attend regular classes unless specified as “Family” or “Kids Yoga.”
  • Parental Consent: Students under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver before attending their first class.
  • Childcare: Childcare is not provided. Please make arrangements for young children while attending classes.

Studio Etiquette

  • Scent-Free Zone: Please avoid wearing strong perfumes or scents to maintain a neutral environment for all participants.
  • Quiet Time: If you arrive early or linger after class, please keep conversations low to respect those who may be meditating or relaxing.
  • Shared Props: If you borrow studio mats or props, please return them neatly to their designated storage area after cleaning.
